Gardiner Expressway east of Humber River (exit 146) and Don Valley Parkway closed for entire length from Highway 401 to Gardiner Expressway Sunday, June 3, 2018 2am to 2pm. The end time of the road closure is approximate. Sections of the highways will gradually reopen at different times but some sections of highway may not fully reopen until 3pm. Expect severe traffic delays from 9am to 2:30pm. The most severe traffic delays will occur from 11am to 2pm - expect delays of 1 hour on Lake Shore Boulevard and delays of 15-30 minutes elsewhere in the area bounded by Highway 401, Warden Avenue, Lake Ontario and Humber River. Expect severe delays on all Toronto Transit Commission bus and streetcar routes in this area. All GO Transit bus service to and from Union Station Bus Terminal will be completely shut down (routes 16, 21, 31, 63, 65, 71) from 9am to 2:30pm. Before 9am GO Transit bus service will operate via alternate routes but expect severe delays. Privately operated buses (e.g. Greyhound, Coach Canada) will operate during Ride for Heart but expect delays of 1 hour or more. No subway closures June 2-3.
